Best Tables for a VW Vanagon Camper

The brown table was purchased from Cost Plus-World Market, available in store only, http://www.worldmarket.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3909397  ,it is stable enough to be used as a food prep table. It matches and nests with the white table. The surface finish on the brown table is not going to last too long. It was not designed for hot dishes or to be scratch resistant. Try to buy the floor model display table and get a discount.

I don't think two white tables will nest as well due to the underneath support arms. The white table was the smaller of the ones available. (I tried the larger version and didn't like it for use in the van. This smaller white table came from Sears.Com, mail order,  http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00802192000P?blockNo=1&blockType=G1&keyword=table+mate&prdNo=1.

When travelling or not in use I secure/connect the nested tables with two small bungee cords to the back of the passenger seat. see photo

The height of the white table is very adjustable although I just leave it in the lower position so it is more stable. It is a good table to stage the food you will be cooking and the dishes/utensils you will be needing.  I like the brown table for preping/cutting food and it is a good height also for dining from.
